Pyramid Solitaire — No Download, No Signup

Pyramid Solitaire stacks 28 cards into a triangle and asks you to clear it by pairing cards that add to thirteen. Kings leave alone, Queens pair with Aces, and only fully exposed cards may be taken, with the stock and two redeals filling the gaps.

There is nothing to install and nothing to update: the whole game ships as a few kilobytes of JavaScript that your browser caches after the first visit.

Always look one row deeper before taking an easy pair — clearing a card that unlocks two others is worth far more than a match that seals the row beneath it. That single habit separates players who finish roughly one deal in three from players who close out most of what they start, and it applies whether you are here for a two-minute break or a long session.

Performance matters as much as rules. The engine keeps all state in memory, renders with plain CSS transforms rather than heavyweight canvas loops, and never phones home mid-hand, which is why pyramid solitaire stays responsive on an ageing school laptop as readily as on a new phone. Sound is synthesised in the browser and can be muted in one tap, and progress survives an accidental refresh.
